Up, up and away! Prize winner announced

A Middlesbrough mother and daughter are flying high this month after winning a Prize Draw Competition at this year’s Harrogate Spring Flower Show, held in April 2015.  Yorkshire-based Paxman Landscapes ran the Competition to win a balloon flight for two “across the rooftops” in support of their Show Garden which featured a stunning backdrop over York behind their equally stunning contemporary garden design.  Paxman Landscapes won Gold for the  “Skyline: A Yorkshire Roof Garden”, one of only 4 gardens to do so this year.

Receiving the flight vouchers and a gift balloon at their home in Faceby, Middlesbrough, the balloon flight winner Val Sonley and her daughter Anna were ecstatic to have been selected.  “It will be my daughter who will be going up in the balloon” said Val.  She continued “It has long been her dream to have a balloon flight so it seemed the perfect competition to enter – and we’re so excited to have won!”

The balloon flight from Virgin Balloon Flights will take in a stunning birds eye view of any one of a number of locations around the UK and will be left up to the Winners to select the venue and date and await suitable flying conditions.
