Paxman Landscapes create ornamental landscape for local residents

Paxman Landscapes have completed their latest soft landscaping scheme at Cherry Garth residential care home in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

Conducted over two phases over the past eighteen months, the landscape works included the supply and spreading of topsoil, turfing and tree and shrub planting.  The Paxman Landscapes team also constructed a pergola and planters for the residents to enjoy.  The scheme was finished off with fencing across the site and the provision of a bin store for their recycling facilities.

Working in partnership with Housing21, Hambleton District Council and North Yorkshire County Council, the 52-apartments scheme also accommodates a restaurant, hair salon and activity rooms for local people aged 55+.
