Success at Trout Fishing Competition for first-timers, Paxman Landscapes

Our very own Nigel Maltas took part in this Winter’s BALI Annual Trout Fishing Competition for the first time, earlier this season.

The event, hosted by the BALI Midlands Region, took place at Eyebrook Reservoir, Leicestershire and was a closely contested competition of regional members of BALI.  The reservoir is a host for some spectacular wildlife and allowed competitors to take in the views and for those who brought binoculars, to witness nature at its best.

As it was a closely fought competition, there was a tie for the winning catch and although no official overall winners were declared, Nigel and another contestant won a copy of Reservoir Fly Fishing by the author Adrian Freer and a bottle of wine each as they were first-time entrants.
