Another soft landscape delivery for GMI Construction

The J Paxman Landscapes team have strong established links with contractors and construction companies across the UK. These established links bring continuity, a simpler supply chain and clear lines of communication means to ensure that the soft landscaping plans are delivered to brief, on time and budget.  Working again with GMI Construction, the J Paxman Landscapes team completed their soft landscaping works at Fradley Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire this April 2025.

Groundworks and planting

The soft landscaping team have sourced, supplied, delivered and planted trees and native hedging across the boundaries, borders and parking facilities, ready for commercial occupancy in Spring 2025. Woodland areas have also been created including a native buffer mix; hawthorns shrub mix and a woodland edge mix.  Each of these young plants was caned and protected with a rabbit spiral.

All areas were mulched with bark for finish and weed suppression.

Preparation and seeding

The grounds were prepped for hydroseeding with different sows including a seasonal wet basin mix, wildflower mix, woodland mix and ordinary grass seed.

Project Partners

With a masterplan by KPP Architects and a build programme by GMI Construction, the two block units are now complete and heading for their first growing season and ongoing maintenance.
