Continuing an established programme of soft landscaping works for commercial planting schemes at KIA and Volvo showroom developments across the country, the J Paxman Landscapes soft landscaping team have been on site this month (November 2024) completing the forecourt and peripheral planting at the new dealerships just north of Leicester.
Shrub and ground cover planting
In liaison with the main contractor and other service providers across the development, the soft landscaping team have been placing and planting 10 litre shrubs and ground cover varieties. Works have continued and are completing this week with the planting areas finished and mulched for healthy establishment, weed suppression and impressive visual impact for the opening of both commercial showrooms.
The planting includes:
- Evergreen and deciduous ground cover with specimen shrubs
- Ornamental grasses
- Evergreen and deciduous hedging
- Lawn seeding
- Woodland planting with native tree mix
- Planting of extra heavy standard trees of 4-5 metre heights including maple, birch, hornbeam and cherry blossom
