From design options discussed and approved by this private homeowner, work begins this month on an ambitious design and build landscape in a rear garden in Thurlstone, Sheffield.

The Plan

Ok, so right now it might look like just a new fence and some diggin. But, picture this: A new patio, steps down from the house onto a pathway that leads you through the garden to the lawn. With planted borders bursting with shrubs, grasses and palms on all sides as you head towards a second paved area – this time in porcelain – the new turfed expanse heads towards the lower garden.

Here, this family-focused landscape then turns its mind to play, in a barked area with safe surfacing and play equipment, a concreted pad ready for a new timber shed and a fully-fenced border for screening and security.

This domestic project, designed by Green Dream and managed and constructed by J Paxman Landscapes, will be completed this Spring 2020 – an impressive multi-functional outdoor space for the whole family to enjoy.
