As part of a competition organised by Town Centre Securities (TCS), the property investment and development company based in Leeds, we are supporting the British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week 2017. How? By supplying local primary school children with some of our builders hard hats to use as plant pots!  To enter the competition, the children have been tasked with growing fruit and vegetables in the hats, which will be used as hanging baskets to decorate around their school buildings and play areas.  They will need to nurture and water their plants, keep a diary and record just how well their plants are thriving in their helmet homes!

Alongside other supporters in BAM Construction, GMI Construction and Child Friendly Leeds, our hats will soon be taking pride of place around schools across Yorkshire.  The winning class, selected by a panel of judges in early July, will have an awesome treat in store –  lunch at Marco Pierre White’s Wade Lane restaurant in Leeds.  A fantastic competition, theme and purpose – getting children growing healthy food – that we are more than happy to support!  Full write-up on the TCS website.
