TEAM LEADER/SUPERVISOR: Soft Landscaping/Grounds Maintenance
We’re looking for a TEAM LEADER with soft landscaping experience, a CSCS card and a full valid driving licence.

As a J Paxman Landscapes Team Leader, you’ll be involved with the management of a small team of landscape operatives involved in the creation of quality commercial and domestic landscapes and gardens. You will ensure your workmanship and that of your team is of a consistently high quality, completed on time and maintaining a professional approach to each project in line with JPL training, standards and due consideration of Health and Safety legislation.
This exciting, varied role requires previous landscaping experience and a hard-working, positive attitude working within a like-minded team on varied soft landscaping and planting projects.

- Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
- Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

APPRENTICE LANDSCAPE GARDENER
We want to work with keen, willing, confident young people with a genuine interest in gardening and horticulture. If you’re a lover of all things outdoors, can brace the elements all year round and are looking for a career in landscaping, you could become part of our future by enrolling as a Landscape Gardening Apprentice within our J Paxman Landscapes Horticultural Academy.
The J Paxman Landscapes Horticultural Academy
You’re not afraid of some hard graft; you love working outside and would relish the opportunity to work as part of a team. You want to build and plant gardens and landscapes and be part of their transformation from a plan on a drawing board to a beautifully planted garden.
Our Landscape Gardening Apprentices gain experience in and an understanding of:
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Handling tools and machinery
- Ornamental planting and tree planting
- Plant handling, care and maintenance
- Grounds maintenance and aftercare
- Teamwork and professional conduct
- Customer care and service
The Person
- To GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year landscape experience (preferred)
The Job:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: £5.80-£7.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 42.00 per week
- Benefits: Company Pension
- Hours: Monday to Friday; Overtime; Weekend availability
