Paxman Landscapes to create ornamental planting for local residents
Paxman Landscapes have been selected as the successful landscape contractor for Cherry Garth residential care home in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
To be conducted over two phases, finishing in March 2015, the first phase of ornamental planting will commence in early March 2014, followed by seeding and turfing.
Working in partnership with Housing21, Hambleton District Council and North Yorkshire County Council, the 52-apartments scheme also accommodates a restaurant, hair salon and activity rooms for local people aged 55+.
The scheme’s planning enables the minimum of disruption to the existing care home residents as well as the preparations for the new Extra Care scheme to be completed in Phase 2 by 2015.
