Market Rasen forecourt planting for Marshalls Building Contractors
The seeding, shrub and tree planting has been completed by the J Paxman soft landscaping team for Marshall Building Contractors. Retaining hedging and enhancing with native species including Corylus avellana, Crataegus monogyna and a blend of Ilex aquifolium, Prunus Spinosa, Rosa canina and Viburnum opulus, the team also planted a new hedgerow of a similar mix.
Heavy and extra heavy standard trees (Pinus, Prunus, Betula, Tilia, Acer, Malus, Sorbus) were also sourced and planted around the periphery of the new Aldi and Starbucks outlets at Market Rasen. These sit across a seeded eco-species-rich lawn. The ornamental beds across the parking areas featured hardy species including Choisya, Mahonia and Skimmia, with Carex, Heuchera and Lavendula for form, foliage and scented contrasts.
