Prep, plant and finish

Sometimes, less is more.

This small project at Preston Youth Club was planted over two days by our Soft Landscape team for Triton Construction. Whilst we have a raft of larger projects completed and in the pipeline for this contractor, we always step up for smaller projects along the way.

The Brief and Works

The ground level planting was formed along walkways, building access and parking areas for the Preston Youth Zone project in the city centre.  Beneath two heavy standard (12-14cm girth) Carpinus Betulus (European Hornbeam) trees and alongside the Viburnum tinus (60-80cm in 10 litre pots), the shrub planting included Hebes, Carex, Ceanothus, Pieris and Prunus laurocerasus.
