Austhorpe Lane School planting

Delivering this Summer school grounds landscape rejuvenation, the J Paxman soft landscaping team have finished the seeding and planting. Combining planted borders with turfed walkways and access, the ground cover planting across each bed featured a close mix of shrubs, grasses and herbaceous to add a splash of colour at the entrances and around the school grounds.

Whilst on site, the team assessed the ground conditions and prepared accordingly, determining the requirements for grass seeding and completing the earthworks to grade in the swales. Surrounding the parking area, the team planted a mixed species hedgerow of 3 rows, ensuring the spacing and positioning of each plant was exactly to specification before completing with bio-degradable tree guards for protection and ultimate growth success.
