Paddocks Wood Primary School, Huddersfield

With outdoor play and learning critical to early school years environments, J Paxman Landscapes have completed the Kirklees Council contract for the installation of play equipment at Paddocks Wood Primary School, Huddersfield.

Completed without snagging and ready for the new school term, the JPL team removed the original equipment and surfaces before improving groundworks and installing the latest equipment.

With parking and site access within a busy residential area, the JPL team were careful to consider local residents and traffic

Clearance, demolition and excavation work began in the early Summer break in 2024. The new playground was completed including rubber surfaces, wear pads and surrounding mulch and soft landscaping in August. ROSPA inspected and approved, the play equipment is now ready for the pupils to extend their outdoor play safely for years to come.
